About Jonathan

Jonathan Gibbs draws, paints, and makes prints. He works in oil on
wood panels primed with gesso and
makes some of his wood-blocks
for engraving using Holly, Box and Whitebeam. Gibbs’s illustrations
are seen in various settings: mural-
design, book illustration, editorial, advertising, pattern-design, packaging, web-design. His image
of a Scottish island has been printed in gold on a big green umbrella.
Gibbs has also designed letterheads, logotypes & bookplates.
